The Test Engineer R&D is part of the Sustaining team. As part of the sustaining team, you are supporting other departments with testing activities. For the R&D development team you support the Verification and Validation tests on new developments and modified existing solutions. You will also be able to perform small modification and repair works on PCBA’s In the Test Bay you support the test bay team with your expertise on technical or design issues. For the CS department you are supporting the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of returned components from the customer.
Your responsibilities:
- Perform Verification & Validation tasks
- Hardware (PCBA) modification and repair
- Support of Test Bay activities
- Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
- Documentation of RCA investigations
- Assistance in complying with the safety rules in the test bay
- Improvement of test facilities and tools
Your qualifications:
- Technical university degree (FH; Bachelor) or Technician (HF) with electronic background
- 5 years in the area UPS Application
- Sound know how on electrical measurement techniques and associated tools
- Strong background and experience in electronics and power electronics
- Understanding of schematic diagrams and electronic circuits
- Good English skills verbal and written
- High level of flexibility
- Techincal writing is a plus
