Business Owner – Insurance Technology & Digital Solutions – Solothurn / Hybrid (Tech stack: Business Ownership, Insurance Core, Swiss Health Platform (SHP), Health Insurance, Accident Insurance, Product Management, P&L, Business Cases, Pricing Models, Agile, SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, PI Planning, Business Owner)
Are you an experienced Business Owner or Product Leader with strong commercial experience within the Swiss insurance industry? Our client is an established Swiss IT service provider supporting the insurance industry with specialist technology and digital solutions. This is not a generic Business Owner position because the successful candidate will need to understand the insurance business, engage credibly with insurers and translate market and customer needs into commercially viable solutions.
You will also have significant commercial responsibility, covering budgets, costs, revenues, P&L, business cases, pricing models and prioritisation, while working closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure the right initiatives are delivered at the right time.
The ideal candidate will bring several years of experience in a senior Product, Business Ownership or comparable commercial role at the intersection of insurance and IT, with proven experience across product management, business cases, budgets and commercial decision-making. A strong understanding of Swiss health and/or accident insurance is a must, while experience with core insurance platforms, SHP/SYRIUS, SAFe or Lean Portfolio Management will be highly advantageous.
Language Skills: C1 (spoken and written) German and English.
